The use of antibiotics has become common nowadays. Due to this phenomenon, it is estimated that within 30 years, antimicrobial resistance surpasses cancer in killing people. Chrisal along with its partner, CPMA has developed a revolutionizing cleaning system using the beneficial bacteria to outlive the harmful bacteria. Through a study in 7 Italian hospitals, it was observed that adopting this system of cleaning, that a 52% drop in hospital-acquired infection and a 62% drop in the use of antibiotics, thus saving 80% in cost. This research demonstrates the impact environment has on healthcare. The research was published in 2018.
